Tonight: Showers should begin to taper this evening, but there may be an isolated shower or two overnight. Some areas of patchy fog by morning. Morning low near 64°F.
Tuesday: Stalling cold front to our east, as well as an upper low, will lead to isolated showers during the afternoon hours. Most areas will dry and mild. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s. Thankfully, it won’t be as humid, but still a bit sticky. Overnight temperature near 62°F.
Wednesday: Again, a spotty shower or two will be possible until the upper low and front finally exit the region. Highs will be in the low and mid 80s. Overnight temperature near 62°F.
Thursday – Sunday: Mostly sunny and dry each day with highs in the mid 80s. Mornings will be in the low and mid 60s.
Next Week: Some moisture will begin to return, which means the return of isolated showers. Rain chance is low for now. Highs will be in the mid 80s.
Tracking the Tropics: Sam continues to move across the northern Atlantic. There is one disturbance that has a low chance of developing off the east coast. No tropical trouble expected for the Gulf for the next 7-10 days. If that changes, we will let you know on-air and online.
