Tonight: Today was the hottest day of the month so far, but tonight, we’ll get some relief from the heat. Temperatures will fall into the mid 70s, which is near average. It will be a little muggy with dew points in the 70s. Skies will be mostly clear, and winds will be light. Low near 75.
Tomorrow: The week will start off on a hot note with temperatures in the mid 90s and heat indices in the triple digits. Winds will be light, so we won’t get much relief from the heat. There’s also the likelihood of storms in the afternoon. They will again be widely scattered with most of the impact occurring in coastal cities. Other than the rain, expect lots of sunshine. High near 94.
Extended: The stormy days won’t end tomorrow. We’re starting the work with with afternoon storms and hot temperatures once again. There is a chance for isolated storms on Tuesday and Wednesday, but after that, rain chances will increase. Temperatures, on the other hand, will decrease. As we head into the weekend, highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s, but it will still be humid and stormy.
