Tonight: It will be another warm and muggy night with temperatures dropping into the mid 70s. Skies will be partly cloudy with light winds out of the west-southwest. Low near 75.

Tomorrow: It will be another sweltering day. Temperatures will be in the lower 90s, but heat indices will be in the upper 90s to lower 100s during the middle of the day. Unfortunately, there could also be some scattered storms. It does not look like the day will be a washout. It more so looks like storms will be passing beginning in the morning continuing through the evening. Winds will be light out of the northwest. High near 92.

Extended: Temperatures will remain in the lower 90s for much of the week. The humidity will also be in place. There is the chance for scattered storms on Monday and spotty storms on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly dry. Storms will return over the weekend with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. The weekend storms could be the result of a system in the Gulf, but it is too early to say what, if any, impacts we’ll see here in southeast Louisiana.
