Tonight: It will be a fairly quiet night. Showers will clear before midnight, so the night will be mostly dry. Temperatures will drop into the mid 70s with partly cloudy skies. Winds will be southeasterly at 5-10 mph. Low near 74.
Tomorrow: The day will be much like today in that we’ll start dry, but by the afternoon, there likely will be scattered storms. Storms will pop up in the afternoon. There could be areas of heavy rain, especially in the evening. By sunset, most showers will end. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s with heat indices in the upper 90s and lower 100s. Winds will be light out of the south. High near 90.
Extended: The rainy pattern will continue on Monday. We could be looking at numerous storms by the afternoon. There could be gusty winds and heavy rain at times. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s. We’ll get a brief break from the hot temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s on both days, and storms will be likely. By the weekend, it will be warmer the the chance for more storms.
