Sunday: Tomorrow will have scattered coverage of showers and thunderstorms with highs in the mid-90s. Overnight lows in the mid-70s.

Next Week: Next week will be wet with scattered to numerous storms each and every day. Enhanced moisture from the tropics along with a stalled frontal boundary will increase rain chances.

Tracking the Tropics: A tropical wave in the open Atlantic is tracking west towards the Caribbean Sea. It has a 60% chance of developing into a tropical depression or storm in the next 5 days. For now, this is not a threat to Louisiana, but it is worth monitoring for the next 2 weeks. Another disturbance has a chance of developing in the Gulf of Mexico (20% chance in the next 5 days) before moving onto the Texas coastline.
