Sunday: Sun and clouds on Mother’s Day with highs near 87°F. It will be humid and breezy. There is a 20% chance for rain on Mother’s Day, which means most will stay dry. Rain chance will increase Sunday night and into Monday. Some storms may be on the strong side overnight and Monday. SPC has placed areas some of the area under a Marginal Risk for severe weather overnight Sunday into early Monday.
Monday: We may be dealing with strong storms on Monday. A cold front will eventually stall out and lead to rounds of rain through Wednesday. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather during the day on Monday. Main concern will be damaging wind, hail, and heavy rain but a tornado cannot be ruled out. Rain chance is around 70%. Tuesday & Wednesday: More rain is expected. Heavy rain will be possible. Currently, there is a 70% chance for rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s.
