Potential Risks: Heavy rain, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes will be the main threats. Hail will also be a potential threat. Rainfall amounts look to be between 1-2″ with locally higher amounts over 2″. Heavy rain in a short amount of time may lead to some localized flash flooding in low-lying areas.
Timing: Isolated strong storms will be possible this evening before a main line of thunderstorms moves in from the west late tonight. The current timing looks to be from 9 PM – 3 AM for our area. The line may speed up or slow down – so give or take an hour or two.
