BATON ROUGE, La. (BR Proud) – All FEMA operations in Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jefferson-Davis parishes are closed today in anticipation of forecasted inclement weather. The list of closures include all drive-thru disaster recovery centers and mobile registration intake centers.
The centers are expected to reopen Tuesday, Sept. 22, weather permitting.
Several other Louisiana centers across the state remain open and Hurricane Laura survivors seeking assistance may visit any open center. To locate the nearest center, visit www.DisasterAssistance.gov. Survivors do not need to visit a drive-thru center to apply for disaster assistance or update their application.
