UPDATE [6:25 a.m.]: Storms have passed through most of the state, but we’re still seeing a couple of storms on the eastern Louisiana-Mississippi border. We are not, however, in the clear. A few storms are possible ahead of or along the cold front that will move through the state. The front is currently in Texas, and we’re already seeing a few storms redevelop. This is what we can expect this afternoon, and a few storms could even be strong. We remain under a marginal and slight risk as all modes of severe weather are possible. Make sure to stay weather aware. The good news is that once the second round of storms pass, it will be dry and clear.
