Tonight: Temperatures will be noticeably cooler overnight following the passage of a cold front. This front brought in rain this evening, and we may see a few lingering showers tonight. After that, clouds will clear the area, which will allow temperatures to plummet into the lower 40s. Winds will be southwesterly at 5-15 mph. Low near 43.
Tomorrow: We’ll finally see a sunny day tomorrow, but it will be noticeably cooler outside. Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s and slightly below average. Winds will be northwesterly at 5-10 mph.
Extended: The cool weather will continue through Wednesday. Highs will only be in the upper 50s to lower 60s, and it will be mostly dry. There is a chance for some afternoon showers on New Year’s Day. We could see heavy rainfall between Wednesday evening and Friday morning as a slow-moving cold front approaches the area. Make sure to follow along for updates.
