StormTracker Forecast…High pressure is settled to our southwest in the Gulf of Mexico. Plenty of sunshine is in store for us today, which is great news for any Super Bowl parties! Afternoon temperatures will be above-normal in the lower 70s. Areas of patchy fog will be possible for your Monday morning commutes.

Clouds will build across the area on Monday all ahead of our next system, which will begin to move into the region late on Tuesday and into Wednesday. A strong cold front will bring showers and storms to the area. Some of the storms may be strong or even severe on Wednesday. Showers will likely linger into Thursday, as will cloud cover, which will keep us chilly. It’s too early to talk specifics, but just make sure you check in with the StormTracker Team on-air and online this week. Weather becomes cooler and more seasonal Friday and into the weekend.
