Tonight: It will be a pretty quiet night. Skies will be mostly clear, which will allow temperatures to dip into the upper 50s and lower 60s. This is still above average. Winds will be light. Low near 59.
Tomorrow: It will be slightly warmer tomorrow as highs return to the 80s. Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day and a light easterly breeze. We’ll stay rain-free with low humidity. High near 81.
Extended: Our rain chances will increase on Tuesday as Zeta approaches the northern Gulf. The system is forecast to make landfall as a strong tropical storm on Wednesday, but where the system makes landfall is still up in the air. Regardless of where the system makes landfall, we’re looking at higher rain chances during the middle of the week. Expect scattered storms to continue on Wednesday into Wednesday night. While Zeta moves toward land, a cold front will be approaching our area, and it will lead to cooler temperatures by Thursday. Highs will be in the 70s. On Friday, highs will only be in the 60s. For the rest of Halloween weekend, highs will be in the low to mid 70s with dry weather in place.
