Tonight: The night will be fairly quiet. We’ll stay dry, and temperatures will be near average. Winds will be light, and skies will be partly cloudy. Low near 69.
Tomorrow: Expect another hot day. Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Skies will be partly cloudy throughout the day. Winds will be northeasterly, which will provide a cooler breeze. High near 90.
Extended: It will start to feel more summer-like on Tuesday with warm temperatures and high dew points. There is a chance for isolated showers pretty much every day through Friday, but we are not looking at any of these days to be washouts. The days will be mostly dry. We are currently monitoring the Gulf for a system that could develop over the next five days. There is the threat of heavy rainfall, but the timing depends on when this system develops and its speed and direction. Hurricane season begins tomorrow, and now is the time to have a plan in place.
