Today: We saw storms this morning, and unfortunately, a few storms are possible this afternoon along the edge of the cold front approaching the area. We remain under a marginal and slight risk today, since some of the storms later in the day could be strong. Make sure to stay weather aware. Once the storms pass, the clouds clear and we dry out. Temperatures will rise into the 80s, and winds will be southwesterly at 10-15 mph. High near 82.
Tonight: Skies will be nice and clear, and temperatures will be slightly above average with lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be light out of the northwest. Low near 60.
Extended: Friday will be warm and quiet, and we’ll see plenty of sunshine. Then, for the first time in a couple weeks, we’re looking at a nice, quiet and severe-weather-free weekend. A weak cold front will move through on Saturday, and on Sunday, temperatures will dip into the 70s. By Monday, temperatures will return to the 80s. The next chance for precipitation will be on Wednesday, so be sure to follow along for updates regarding this next system.
