Tonight: Clouds build into the overnight hours. Overnight temperatures will be in the low and mid 70s.
Friday: Mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 80s. Rain chance is around 20%. Overnight temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Weekend: A cool front will push through the area Saturday. We likely won’t see much rain with this front, except for areas near the coast. This front will bring cooler and drier air to the area. Highs will be in the low and mid 80s this weekend and lows will be in the 60s. Rain chance is 20-30%. Breezy on Sunday.
Next Week: The aforementioned cool front will either stall out in the Gulf or wash out near the coast. This front could keep deep tropical moisture confined to the coast or just offshore. We will keep you posted. Highs will be in the low and mid 80s with overnight temperatures in the mid 60s. Fall begins on Tuesday – woohoo!
Tracking the Tropics: Invest 90L will likely become a tropical depression or Tropical Storm Wilfred today. It may meander in the Bay of Campeche for a day or so before slowly drifting to the north. What happens from there is unknown for now.
