StormTracker Forecast…Clouds are blanketing south Louisiana this morning. Clouds will gradually break a bit, leaving some areas partly to mostly cloudy. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Some showers will begin to move in overnight. Friday morning temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s.
A surface low pressure system will develop later today or tonight off the coast of Texas. The system is expected to track across the northern Gulf. As of the now, the system is forecast to stay offshore, which means, the bulk of rain will stay closest to the coast and to our east. Rain chance is currently around 50-60%. Rain chances may go up or down, all depending on where the low ultimately tracks. Stay tuned for changes.



Clouds will likely linger into Saturday morning before gradually thinning out. Skies will become partly cloudy by the Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the lower 60s. Sunday will start off sunny. Clouds will gradually build through the afternoon and evening. Still a gorgeous day, overall. Afternoon temperatures will top out in the upper 60s to around 70.
