StormTracker Morning Forecast…
Today and Tonight: Patchy fog as well as some drizzle across our area this morning. Overcast to mostly cloudy skies today with highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s. The wind will make it feel like the 20s and 30s all day long. Clouds should gradually begin to break up overnight and into Friday morning. Morning temperatures will be in the mid and upper 20s. Some areas north of Baton Rouge may experience another hard freeze. A moderate freeze is likely, regardless. Protect people, pets, plants, and pipes.
Friday: Clearing skies, but it will still be cold. High temperatures will be in the low and mid 40s. A moderate to hard freeze can be expected Friday night and into Saturday morning. Temperatures will quickly drop into the low and mid 20s. Protect people, pets, plants, and pipes!
Weekend: Very cold Saturday morning, but we should warm rather quickly thanks to sunny skies. Not as cold Sunday morning. Temperatures will be above freezing. Clouds return on Sunday ahead of another cold front. Rain should hold off until late Sunday.
Next Week: Next week is looking nice overall. We may have rain on Monday, but sun returns on Tuesday and it will be much warmer.
