StormTracker Forecast…We’re waking up to much cooler weather this morning! The cold front that brought rain to Southeast Louisiana has cleared the area, but clouds will hang tight through the day. Dress warm as today will be cloudy, cool, breezy, and damp. Afternoon temperatures will only top out in the 50s. Skies will clear late tonight, which will allow temperatures to fall into the mid 30s to lower 40s by Friday morning.
Friday: Valentine’s Day will be much brighter! You can plan on dry and clear conditions during the day and night. Bundle up if you’re going to be out and about that evening — temperatures will be in the 40s.
Weekend: Saturday will start off mainly clear, but clouds will gradually build into the area. Saturday evening should be mostly dry, but a few showers may develop as a disturbance approaches our area. Rain chances increase late Saturday night through Sunday morning. The timing of this next system may change. Be sure to check the forecast before heading out to the parade routes. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s on Saturday and then lower 70s on Sunday.
Next Week: Scattered rain just about daily next week. Temperatures will be in the 70s ahead of a cold front and then 50s and 60s behind the front.
