Today: Expect another gorgeous day. Highs will be in the lower 90s, but it won’t feel very muggy. Dew points will be in the 60s, which will result in comfortable conditions. Expect plenty of sunshine. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5-10 mph. High near 91
Tonight: Tonight we’ll transition into a more humid pattern. Moisture levels will increase, and clouds will return. We’ll stay dry as temperatures drop into the lower 70s. Winds will be easterly at 5-10 mph. Low near 71.
Extended: We are expecting the system in the Gulf to move into the northern Gulf tomorrow. There could be some development before it makes landfall. Regardless, there is the potential for heavy rain from the outer bands of this system. There is still a lot of uncertainty, but rain and storms are likely throughout the weekend. Temperatures will be in the 80s. Heading into the upcoming workweek, we’ll still be dealing rain, but it will be from an unrelated system. There could be localized flooding, but again, it depends on where the center of circulation will be for the system in the Gulf.
