Today: We’ve got a dry morning in the forecast with more sunshine around sunshine, moving to partly cloudy by lunch. We’ll see high temperatures in the low-90s with heat indices getting as high as 103 degrees. Break out the sunglasses and shorts but keep your umbrella on hand! Scattered showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening. The coverage will be spotty, so not everyone will see something. Temperatures will be back into the mid-70s again tonight.
Friday: High pressure takes over Friday leading to mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with a very minimal chance of seeing a quick shower or two. Overall, it will be dry and hot with highs between 91 and 94 degrees with heat indices will approach Heat Advisory levels with the heat index possibly getting as high as 108 degrees. Please stay hydrated and in the shade or A/C during a heat advisory as it can quickly overcome you if you’re not careful.
Weekend: Scattered showers & storms will be possible this weekend due to a weak disturbance to our north allowing more moisture to feed rain chances. Despite this, Highs remain hot in the low-90s.
Next Week: We’ll start the week with hot temperatures and isolated to scattered showers for your afternoons. By mid-week, temperatures might drop a few degrees with rain coverage becoming a little more widespread.
