Today: There may be some rain around during the second half of the day, but rain chances will be low. We’ll see sun and clouds. Clouds will return late tonight. Rain chance is around 20% for the rest of the day. High near 84°F. Overnight temperature around 65°F.
Friday & Saturday: Scattered showers and storms at times during the afternoon and evening on Friday, but storm coverage and intensity will ramp up late Friday night through at least the first half of Saturday. The SPC has placed the entire area under a Slight Risk and Enhanced Risk for severe weather Friday night through Saturday morning. Damaging wind, hail, and tornadoes will be possible. Heavy rain will be a concern, as well. We could easily see widespread rain totals of 1-3″, but locally higher amounts over 3″ will be possible. Heavy rain could lead to some flash flooding issues. Rain chance is 30% on Friday, 70% Friday night, and 70% for the first half of Saturday. Rain is expected to come to an end by Saturday evening. Highs will be in the low and mid 80s. Low near 67 Saturday morning and 57 Sunday morning.
Sunday: Lower rain chances as the front finally pushes through. We’ll see sun and clouds with highs in the lower 80s. Low near 57.
Next Week: Spotty showers and storms with highs in the 80s on Monday and 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday. We could have another cool down late next week.
