Today: A cold front will begin to pass through the area later today. Ahead of the front, scattered to numerous showers are likely. Rain chance is around 60-70%. Otherwise, it will be warmer and cloudy. Temperatures may briefly warm into the mid and upper 60s. Some areas north of Baton Rouge may only warm into the lower 60s. Temperatures will likely drop into the 50s by the evening.
Tonight: Light showers will continue to be possible. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 40s.
Friday: Morning clouds and a few showers are possible. Clearing skies by the afternoon with highs in the mid 50s. Overnight temperatures in the mid and upper 30s. Some areas of frost will be possible early Saturday morning.
Weekend: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s on Saturday. Clouds will build ahead of our next cold front. The cold front will move in late on Sunday. We are not expecting rain with this front. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 30s to around 40.
Next Week: Highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s and lows in the mid and upper 30s to start the week, but temperatures may regulate back to normal as we wrap up the week. Rain chances increase late in the week of next week.
