Today: Rain chances finally start to drop a little bit as a ridge of high pressure begins to build. We will be more in a summer weather pattern with only a few pop ups. Highs will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s, but it will feel like the upper 90s to lower 100s. Rain chance is only around 20%.
Tonight: Areas of patchy fog with morning temperatures in the mid 70s.
Friday: Mostly dry and hot. Rain chance is around 10%. Highs will be in the lower 90s, but it will feel much hotter.
Saturday: Sun and clouds with highs in the lower 90s. Rain chance is around 20%.
Sunday: Scattered rain returns to the area, but it doesn’t look to be a washout. Rain chance is around 40-50%. Highs near 92.
Next Week: Scattered showers are possible each day. Highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
Tracking the Tropics: Tropics are currently quiet, but the Climate Prediction Center highlighted an area to watch in the Gulf 1-2 weeks. Plenty of time to watch.
