Today: There is a 50% chance of precipitation. There will likely be scattered storms throughout the afternoon. Otherwise, it will be warm and humid. Winds will be light out of the east. High near 89.
Tonight: There is a low chance for a passing shower. Skies will be partly cloudy, and overall, it will be warm and a little muggy. Winds will be light out of the east. Low near 74.
Extended: A cold front will move through the state tomorrow, and ahead of that front, there will likely be storms and areas of heavy rain. There is also the chance for gusty winds ahead of the front, so stay weather aware. Showers and storms are likely again on Saturday, and there could be heavy rain at times. There could be scattered afternoon and evening storms on the Fourth of July, but it does not look like the day will be a washout. Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will only be in the mid 80s. We’ll start to warm up on Monday, but we are still looking at the daily chance for storms.
