Thursday: Today will be mostly sunny and hot with highs in the upper-80s. Increasing clouds are expected in the evening ahead of storms. Strong thunderstorms will push through overnight from 10pm to 4am. There is a marginal (level 1 out of 5) risk for severe weather. The main threat will be damaging winds but should not be widespread, only isolated possibility of it.
Friday: All rain will clear by late morning with more sunshine expected in the afternoon. Highs projected to be in the upper-80s.
Mother’s Day Weekend: The sun comes back out this weekend with temperatures becoming very above average. Highs will be in the low-90s on Saturday then soar into the mid-90s on Mother’s Day.
Next Week: Next week strong heat stays put with dry weather sticking around. Each day is expected to reach the mid-90s.
