Today: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and hot. A stray shower or storm may develop, but most stay dry and hot. Highs will top out in the upper 80s to around 90, but it will feel even hotter.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Areas of patchy fog. Overnight temperature near 70.
Friday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s. It will feel like the 90s. A few spotty showers are possible, but the rain chance is on the low side for now. Currently, rain chance sits around 20-30%.
Memorial Day Weekend: It’s going to be warm and humid with the chance for scattered rain on Saturday. Rain chance is around 50-60% on Saturday for now. We will have to see if a front stalls or moves south of our area into the Gulf. This will dictate whether or not we have rain on Sunday. As of now, the front looks to clear the area, but a passing disturbance could lead to rain during the second half of Saturday. Stay tuned. Humidity is expected to drop into Sunday. Rain chance will be around 20-30% on Sunday and 20% on Memorial Day. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s.
Tuesday: A few spotty showers around with highs near 87.
Wednesday: Spotty showers are expected, but not all areas will see rain. Highs near 86.
Please stay cool, stay hydrated, and look before you lock. Don’t forget about your pets in the heat. Keep them cool, too.
