Tonight: It will be a pretty quiet and cool night. Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s, which is below average for this time of year. Skies will be partly cloudy, and winds will be light out of the north. Low near 69.
Tomorrow: Drier air will remain in place, so it will still feel nice for summer. Highs will rise into the upper 80s and lower 90s with heat indices only a couple degrees higher. Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day. Winds will be light out of the east. High near 90.
Extended: We’ll return to a more seasonable pattern heading into the weekend. Temperatures will remain in the lower 90s, but with an increase of moisture in the air, it’s going to feel humid once again. Heat index values will be closer to the triple digits. There is also the chance for scattered storms over the weekend. At this point, it does not look like the day will be a washout. The pattern next week will be similar. Highs will be in the lower 90s with the daily chance for showers and storms.
