Tonight: Evening strong storms, but the rain should fade shortly after sunset. An isolated storm or two will still be possible late tonight. Mostly cloudy and humid otherwise with lows in the mid 70s.

Friday: A Heat Advisory is in place from 10 AM to 7 PM. Temperatures in the mid and upper 90s will feel much hotter and that can quickly lead to heat-related illnesses. Otherwise, it’s going to be hot and a touch more humid. Feels like temperatures will be over 105 degrees.

Weekend: Rain chances remain rather low through the weekend, although a couple of pop up storms cannot be ruled out. The heat will continue to be an issue for our area. Heat indices will be over 105 degrees. There will likely be heat advisories in place – which is something to keep in mind if you will be outdoors at any point this weekend. Temperatures will continue to trend well-above normal in the upper 90s. A few spots may even top out near 100 degrees.

Monday – Thursday: Very strong ridge of high pressure will act as a heat dome and this will limit storm activity and lead to very high heat. Keeping rain chances very low for now. High temperatures will be in the upper 90s to around 100 just about daily. Heat indices will likely be over 108 degrees.
