Extended -Another line of strong to severe thunderstorms arrives late Friday night into early Saturday morning. We currently sit under a Slight Risk [2 of 5] for severe weather. All types of severe weather are possible: damaging winds, large hail, frequent lightning and heavy rain. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Storms will quickly exit by mid-Saturday morning. A sunny and seasonable pattern returns by Sunday. Expect pleasant pattern for the first half of the work week. Skies will be sunny and dry.
Daytime highs will hover in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Showers and thunderstorms make a comeback for Wednesday and Thursday.
Storms will need to be monitored for possible severity. Looks like a quiet outlook to start the month of May.
