Tonight – Friday morning: A light mix of freezing rain and sleet may lead to some minor ice accumulations through Friday morning. Any ice accumulations would likely be on elevated roads, bridges, overpasses. Some ice may develop on cars, gutters, water spigots, etc. Ice accumulations should generally be less than a tenth of an inch – This can lead to hazardous travel Friday morning. Overnight and early Friday morning temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. The wind will make it feel like the upper teens and 20s by daybreak.

Friday: It’s going to be cloudy, cold, and breezy. We will only warm into the upper 30s to lower 40s on Friday, which means any ice that develops may take a few hours after sunrise to melt. North wind between 10 and 15 mph will make it feel much colder. Skies will clear late Friday. Friday night temperatures will be in the mid and upper 20s, which means a hard freeze will be possible. Be sure to protect people, pets, plants, and pipes! You may want to drip your faucets before bed. Saturday morning wind chills will be in the upper teens and 20s.

Weekend: Sunshine returns on Saturday, but it will still be cold and breezy. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s to around 50 on Saturday. Another hard freeze is expected Saturday night through Sunday morning. Temperatures will be in the mid and upper 20s. This means protect people, pets, plants, and your pipes. Drip your faucets before bed. Highs will be lower and mid 50s on Sunday. A light freeze is expected Sunday night and into Monday morning.

Early Next Week: Temperatures moderate a little bit and we could have another cold front move in by the early half of the week, which will increase our rain chances. Temperatures will stay on the cool side.
