Tracking the Tropics: Tropical Depression Fred It will likely enter the southeastern Gulf of Mexico by Saturday. Models hint that it will eventually turn to the northwest then north toward the northeastern or north-central Gulf Coast. The current forecast cone includes the Alabama Gulf Coast to the western side of the Florida peninsula, but keep in mind, this could certainly change. As of now, Louisiana is not included in the cone. Meanwhile, Invest 95L is expected to track toward the Caribbean by the weekend. Next name on the list is Grace.
