Tonight: The remnants of Nicholas continue to spin to our west. This will trigger more off and on showers tonight and Friday. Passing showers are possible and they could be on the heavy side. Otherwise, mostly cloudy with a low near 72.
Friday: Clouds and sun with highs in the mid 80s. Scattered to numerous showers and storms are likely. Some rain may be on the heavy side and cause additional problems. Flash Flood Watch continues through Friday evening. An additional 2-4″ will be possible. Rain chance is around 60-70%.
Saturday – Sunday: Scattered to numerous showers and storms are expected Friday and into the weekend thanks to remaining tropical moisture in place and a disturbance in place. Isolated flash flooding may be possible. Unfortunately, there may be some rain around for tailgating and during the early portions of the football games. This weekend shouldn’t be a washout, but there will be a good coverage of rain mainly during the afternoon and evenings. Highs will be in the low and mid 80s.
Next Week: Scattered daily rain showers with highs in the mid 80s. A strong cold front may move in Wednesday and pass by Thursday. Still time to watch, but this could bring drier air to the area, as well as some cooler mornings.
Tracking the Tropics: There are three areas to watch in the Atlantic Basin over the next couple of days. Next names on the list are Odette and Paul.
