Friday: Mostly dry to start the day, but scattered showers and storms will likely develop by the afternoon. Not all areas will deal with rain, however. Some heavy rain may lead to street flooding, especially in the low-lying areas and flood-prone areas. Most rain activity will fade by sunset or shortly thereafter. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s with heat indices in the lower 100s.
This Weekend: A typical summertime weather pattern over the weekend with afternoon pop-up thunderstorms and high temperatures in the low and mid 90s. If you have plans to be outdoors, make sure you have shelter in case a thunderstorm develops over your area.
Next Week: Slightly higher rain chances on Monday, but then the daily rinse, wash, repeat weather pattern for the remainder of the week. Also, highs in the mid 90s will return.
