Tonight: Partly cloudy, humid, and warm overnight. Wake-up temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Areas of fog possible by morning.
Friday: Mostly sunny, dry, hot, and muggy. High temperatures will be in the low and mid 90s, but it will feel closer to 100 degrees thanks to the high humidity.
Saturday: Storm chances return to the forecast as a weakening front moves into the region. Scattered showers and storms are possible on Saturday, but most of the rain should hold off until the afternoon and evening. Some areas will stay dry and hot. Highs in the lower 90s.
Sunday & Monday: Rain coverage increases both Sunday and Monday. We will have to monitor for heavy rain. We could have rounds of rain and some of the storms could quickly drop several inches of rain in a short amount of time. It won’t likely rain all day Sunday, but several rounds of rain are expected. Stay alert as we fine tune the details.
Tuesday – Thursday: Lingering scattered to numerous showers and storms into next week – mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Rain chances dip down to around 40 percent by Thursday. Highs will be in the 80s. Seven-day rain totals look to be one to three inches on average with locally higher amounts over four to six inches.
