Tonight: A disturbance moving through the region could spark up storms overnight or early Friday. While it’s not a guarantee, it will be a good possibility. These storms may pack a punch and produce gusty wind and heavy rain, which could impact your early morning commutes.

Friday: Even if storms are around in the morning, scattered storms may still fire up during the afternoon and evening hours. Heavy rain is a concern, which means localized flash flooding will be possible. Friday will likely be the day where we have the best rain coverage through the weekend. No heat advisory in place. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s.

This Weekend: Only spotty showers and storms around this weekend. Slightly better rain coverage on Saturday, but a large part of the area will remain dry and hot. High temperatures will be in the mid 90s for most. We will likely have heat advisories in place again.

Next Week: The weather pattern turns more unsettled – Daily storm chances with highs in the 90s.

Tracking the Tropics: No tropical development expected during the next 5 days.
