Tonight – Skies stay mainly clear tonight. Temperatures sit slightly warmer. Lows near 60.
Tomorrow – Clouds build by mid-morning. Thunderstorms return Friday afternoon and will extend into early evening. Storms start out isolated after 1:00 pm. The current timing of the main line is 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. However, the main line has the potential to shift a few hours. Right now, all modes of severe weather are possible: damaging winds, heavy rain, hail, and isolated tornadoes. At some point, the entire viewing area will sit under a Slight Risk [2 out of 5] to Marginal Risk [1 out of 5] for severe weather.
Extended – Temperatures rapidly drop beyond the cold front. By Saturday night, overnight lows will dip into the upper 40s. We’ve got a chilly start to Mother’s Day. However, we bounce back nicely by Sunday afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 70s. We fall into a dry pattern for much of next week.
