Today: Happy Friday eve and first day of spring! The day will be a warm and muggy one with temperatures in the 80s and dew points in the 60s. Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day, but unfortunately, a few scattered showers are in the picture. Winds will be southerly at 10-15 mph. High near 84.
Tonight: Expect another warm night. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s, which is well above average. Skies will be mostly cloudy, but there is a chance for a few stray showers. Winds will be southerly at 10-15 mph, providing a nice breeze. Low near 70.
Extended: We’ll see temperatures in the 80s for one more day on Friday, but we’ll see scatted thunderstorms as well. This is all due to a cold front moving into the area. The timing for the storms looks to be around 10 p.m., but this may change. Make sure to stay weather aware throughout the day tomorrow. The cold front will result in near-average temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. Highs for both days will be in the low to mid 70s, but both days will feature showers. We start to warm back up on Monday, and on Tuesday, our temperatures will return to the 80s. This is also when we’ll begin to see some sunshine in the picture. On Wednesday, highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
