TROPICS WATCH: Horrifying rain totals for Eastern Texas; I-10 closed at state line

Imelda is now an open wave and continues to weaken.

A Flood Emergency has been issued for portions of southeast Texas. Rain estimates sit in the 30″-40″ range for Winnie, TX. I-10 WB is currently closed at the Texas/Louisiana state line for being under water.

Imelda is now an open wave and continues to weaken. Imelda will slowly make an exit tomorrow dropping the threat for rain.

Rain estimates still remain high for portions of east Texas. Thunderstorms will be more scattered in the Baton Rouge area.

Hurricane Jerry will track to the north west before making a northern turn on Sunday. Jerry will be no threat to the United States.

Hurricane Humberto continues to weaken and will most likely become an extra-tropical system by tomorrow.
