A tropical storm warning have been issued for the Puerto Rico. Winds are currently sustained at 50 mph. Dorian should cross Puerto Rico late Wednesday as a strong tropical storm or possibly a weak hurricane. Otherwise, the long-range forecast from the NHC shows possible landfall in northern Florida as a category 1 hurricane. Some models indicate that Dorian could even drift into the northern Gulf early next week.
Tropical Depression Six has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Erin. Erin is no immediate threat to land.
