BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) –
Today & Tonight: An area of low pressure will track along the northern Gulf Coast. This will bring waves of rain to our area on Tuesday. We could see about an inch or so of rain with locally higher amounts. Rain chances will quickly drop after lunch/early afternoon. Temperatures will only be in the 40s and 50s Tuesday afternoon. Wind will make it feel even colder. Overnight temperatures will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s.



Wednesday: Clouds will gradually clear as high pressure builds to our west. Highs in the low and mid 60s. Overnight temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and very pleasant with highs in the upper 60s to around 70. Clouds return late in the day. Overnight temperatures in the mid 40s.
Friday: Another system is expected to move through the region. Rain chance is around 40% for now. High near 70. Lows will dip into the 40s.
Weekend: Few showers early Saturday. Very pleasant and mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s. Overnight temperatures in the 40s.
Monday: Highs will rebound into the lower 70s. Enjoy!
