StormTracker Team Forecast…Grab the light jackets before heading out the door. We’re sitting in the 50s this morning, which is around 10-15 degrees warmer this morning than on Monday morning. We’re waking up to cloud cover, but clouds should decrease in coverage throughout the day, leaving us with partly cloudy skies by the afternoon. You won’t need the jackets by the afternoon as temperatures warm into the mid-70s, which is normal for this time of year.
You won’t need the rain gear on Tuesday or Wednesday, but that changes on Thursday and Friday as another strong cold front moves through the area. Rain chance will be around 60% on Thursday, 60% Thursday night/early Friday morning, and 40% during the day on Friday. Similiar to the Halloween cold front, our area will likely reach our high temperature for the day early in the morning before temperatures drop into the 50s in wake of the cold front. As of right now, we are not expecting organized severe weather with this front.
This weekend is shaping up to be cool and dry before another front moves in Sunday night/early Monday morning. Rain chance is only around 20% on Sunday night and on Veterans Day.
If you’re traveling to Tuscaloosa to cheer on the Tigers this weekend, be sure to pack purple and gold gear that will keep you warm! Tailgaiting temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. Kickoff is at 2:30 P.M. in Bryant Denny Stadium. You can expect a temperature around 58°F and thankfully, there will be plenty of sunshine. Dress in layers! Geaux Tigers!
