Weekend: We are watching Invest 92L. Model guidance brings it to the northern Gulf Coast this weekend as a tropical depression or tropical storm. Whether it develops or not, it will likely bring heavy rain and coastal flooding to the north central Gulf Coast. This system could be quite sloppy, which means heavy rain would be a threat well-east from the center, as well. Rain totals could exceed 10″ in some spots. Be sure to stay tuned. For now, we are forecasting around a 70% chance for rain both Saturday and Sunday. Local waterways will need to be monitored.
