Today: You might as well copy and paste the forecast because more scattered showers and storms are expected on Tuesday with highs in the mid-80s. There will be a small risk for flooding in some storms today, so stay on guard and drive safe. The best rain chances will be for our northern parishes and our Mississippi counties.

Wednesday: The middle of the week will be the wettest with widespread showers and storms and highs in the mid-80s. Heavy rain is expected in many of the thunderstorms on Wednesday with some flooding risks. Clear the storm drains in your neighborhood and always turn around if you encounter a flooded roadway. There will also be a risk for severe weather with these storms. It’s a small risk, but not negligible.

Thursday: Spotty shower and storms chances continue into Thursday along a frontal boundary. This could dump some quick rain, before dry weather settles in afterwards.

Memorial Day Weekend: As we approach the weekend, high pressure takes over, leading to warmer temperatures and allowing us to dry out after a wet week. Highs return to the 90s over the holiday weekend. It will be a great time for a pool party or an outdoor bbq!
