Today: Like the past few days, we’ve started the day off on a warm note, and highs will once again reach the 80s in the afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy. Winds will be southwesterly at 10-15 mph, but gusts could exceed 25 mph. Highs near 84.
Tonight: Lows in the mid to upper 60s tonight will be above average. Skies will be partly cloudy, but a stray shower cannot be ruled out of the picture. Winds will be southwesterly at 5-15 mph. Lows near 67.
Extended: The temperatures will keep rising through the end of the workweek. Highs will be in the 80s tomorrow, and then, on Thursday and Friday, highs will soar into the upper 80s and possibly the lower 90s. These temperatures are almost unprecedented for this time of year as our temperatures are usually in the mid 70s. A cold front will move into the area over the weekend, and this will help to lower temperatures. Saturday looks to be mainly dry as of now, but a shower cannot be ruled out ahead of the cold front. Highs will be in the mid 80s. On Sunday, highs will only be in the upper 70s, but on Monday, our temperatures will finally be close to average with lows in the mid 70s. Monday will also provide the best chance for a few showers in the area.
