Today: It remains hot in the low-mid 90s with mostly dry and sunny conditions. No chance for rain today. Lows back in the low-70s tonight.

Wednesday-Friday: A strong ridge of high pressure takes over Wednesday which leads to a strong heat wave for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the mid-upper 90s with heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees. Sunny skies remain. A stray shower is possible, but unlikely, Thursday and Friday.

This Weekend: Saturday highs only reach the low-90s with scattered showers and thunderstorms. We dry out again on Sunday with highs remaining tolerable in the low-90s (especially because humidity should be lower).

Tracking the Tropics: No tropical development is expected for the next 5 days.
