Today: It will be a nice and cool day with highs near 65 degrees and full sunshine. Overnight lows into the mid-40s with clear skies.
Wednesday: We warm back into the low-70s on Wednesday with increasing clouds in the evening.
Thanksgiving Day: A disturbance that comes in from Arizona will be moving towards our region, bringing another cold front. It will bring more rain and cooler temperatures. The timing of this rain will be in the afternoon to nighttime hours and will likely weaken as it progresses through the area. Rain amounts will likely vary from 0.10” to 0.50”. The cooler air will not affect us in the afternoon, so before the rain, we should warm into the mid-70s in the afternoon. As clouds clear overnight, the cooler air will begin to settle in.
Black Friday: The morning will start of cool in the upper-40s with the afternoon barely reaching 60 degrees thanks to the cold front on Thanksgiving. No rain is expected with partly cloudy skies. Grab the sweaters and hot chocolate as overnight lows look to dip into the mid-to-upper 30s.
Saturday-Sunday: Cool air and partly cloudy skies stay in place for your weekend with highs in the low-to-mid 60s.
Tracking the Tropics: No impacts to Baton Rouge expected.
