Today: We’ll begin a pattern of unseasonably warm temperatures. Highs will rise into the lower 70s, but with low dew points, it will feel comfortable outside. Winds will be southeasterly at 5-10 mph. High near 73.
Tonight: It will be a warm and quiet night. Lows will only fall into the upper 40s, which is above average. Skies will be partly cloudy, and winds will be light. Low near 49.
Extended: A cold front will pass through the state overnight, and while we won’t see any rain from this system, we will see increased cloud cover. Winds will also shift to a more northerly direction, so we’ll draw in some cooler air. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s. It won’t be as warm as today, but temperatures will still be above average. High pressure will then settle to our southeast, and our winds will return to a southerly flow by Thursday. Our temperatures will bounce back into the 70s. We could see spotty showers throughout the day, but rain chances will increase overnight and on Friday. On Saturday, we’ll stay mostly dry, and temperatures will be back in the low to mid 60s. Then, we’ll rebound into the 70s on Sunday. Monday will be the next chance for scattered showers with temperatures in the mid 70s.
