A Heat Advisory is in effect from 9 AM to 7 PM Wednesday. High heat and humidity could put major stress on our bodies and this could quickly lead to heat-related illnesses. Heat index values will be around 103°F to 108°F+ for 8-10 hours.
Wednesday & Thursday: Passing Gulf disturbance will lead to higher rain coverage. Scattered showers and storms are possible – mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. Highs will still be in the mid 90s with heat indices in the 100s.
Friday: Scattered showers and storms are possible with highs in the mid 90s.
Weekend: Spotty showers and storms will be around. Highs will be in the mid and upper 90s, but it will feel like the 100s.
Next Week: Incoming cold front will lead to higher rain coverage, which would keep our temperatures down a couple of degrees.
