Tonight: Cold front will pass tonight, but we will likely have storms to deal with first. Could even have a couple of showers during the pre-dawn hours Wednesday morning. Mostly cloudy and breezy overnight with morning temperatures in the 60s.
Wednesday: Clearing skies and dropping humidity throughout the day. It will be quite breezy, too. Highs in the upper 70s. Autumn officially begins around 2:21 PM. Overnight temperatures in the mid 50s.
Thursday: A simply stunning day with low humidity, plentiful sunshine and highs only in the upper 70s. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 50s. Some areas north and east of Baton Rouge may even drop into the lower 50s by Friday morning.
Friday: Another stunning day with highs only near 80. Low humidity will make for such a nice day and night. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 50s.
Saturday – Tuesday: Humidity will gradually increase, but we will stay mostly dry and warm. Highs in the lower 80s on Saturday and mid 80s both Sunday and Monday. Mornings in the lower 60s.
Tracking the Tropics: Peter and Rose developed, but they will curve out to sea. There are two other areas to watch, but only one would be a potential threat to the Caribbean, but even then, it does not look to pose a threat any time soon. Most models have it curving to the northwest. We will watch.
