Tonight: A disturbance to our west will keep clouds around and a few light showers are possible. Rain chance is only around 10 to 20 percent. Overnight temperatures in the 50s and 60s.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy to partly sunny with highs in the lower 80s. More clouds near the coast and possibly even some light rain. Upper 50s once again by Thursday morning.

Rest of the Week: We’re warming up into the mid 80s Thursday and Friday. We’re expecting mostly sunny skies on Thursday with clouds and humidity increasing by Friday.

This Weekend: Next cold front will move into the area on Saturday. Storms are likely on Saturday, but the line of storms may be weakening as it passes through. Timing will need to be adjusted as we get closer. The LSU versus Alabama game may end up being a bit rainy. Also, we’re watching for severe weather. Don’t forget that Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday at 2 am. We gain an extra hour of sleep. Good time to change batteries in smoke detectors.

Next Week: Partly cloudy and warm with highs in the lower 80s.

Tracking the Tropics: Lisa and Martin developed in the Atlantic Basin. No threats to our area.
